laser alignment is specifically designed for 4 wheel vehicles it does not work on a 3 wheel. It's a scam do not waste your money on a misalignment as this is the best you will get with laser. I design reverse trikes for a living and have studied the laser system and it is not a good option.

Thanks very much for this video post. Much appreciated. I live in Canada and I’m looking at acquiring a new Can-Am Spyder. I totally agree with you on the premium aspects of this particular ride. The financial impact of that premium label is all the more prevalent here in Canada, which ironically happens to be the birthplace of the Spyder. Having never owned a Spyder, I assume doing research on dealer maintenance may prove challenging, especially if you have to figure out what questions to ask (and hope they are the right ones). It would also help if you know someone who owns a Spyder. Failing that, I suppose one could look for a Spyder related riding group to acquire any associated knowledge. Once again, thanks for the info. It's time to save up the pennies - not just for the ride itself, but for the (self) maintenance.

His advice - (I agree based on all the research I’ve done and people I’ve talked to.). 1) make sure the dealership is worthy. Sales dept but more impotently the service dept. 2) The 1330 engine is more reliable and better on maintenance than the previous models. Dealers may not work on the olds as often, etc. 1330 is a 9,300 mile oil change internal instead of 5,000. 3) the Spyder is a luxury machine. They are like a sports car as far as fuel and some maintenance cost. Oil change kit can run you around $130-150 doing it yourself. They require premium fuel.

We have lots of creeks here in KS too ha ha. Glad to have a good dealer about an hour and half away. Have lots of stuff done at Lamonster Garage and fun road trip in the process. Great info. for buyers too!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!🎊. Getting a new CanAm Spyder RTL next week. (from same excellent dealer I bought my last Spyder from). The new display is killer, as well as new reverse functions, LED lights, improved cruise control features. Major improvements over my 2018 RTL. Great advice in your video.

I am lucky in having a good dealer in Portimao, southwest Portugal. Lower labour costs here. I get the impression dealers in America are often poor. I didn't know the 1330 had hydraulic lifters. Great news. Just been for a run on my 2019 F3-S. I love it. Nick

1. My local can-am dealer, I will only buy from for parts. They also will not work on the older models. They would rather work on the atv's anyway. I have a good working relationship with a shop in Tucson. 2. My 2011 RTS has been fun. Yup, it seeps oil😅 as much as keyboard warriors like to educate me that it shouldn't happen. I just bought a 2015 F3S. I'm loving the upgrade!😁

I ride piaggio mp3 500cc (only B licence) and bikers wont wave at me cuz it looks like a vehicle for the disabled :( I can lean in corners and do everything a 2 wheeled bike can do, max speed is 156 km/h and acceleration is very decent too... I love riding it, it's just ppl make fun of me seeing the 2 little fron wheels

I agree too. I loved my Harley Softail Slim, but sure don't miss holding it up lol.

I took my new 2 Wheeler out for a Rip today ... It's a Stealth B-52. They're made here in Australia ... It'll do 50 MPH which is Not bad for an Electric Mountain Bike! I will always keep my F3 I love it more than ever ... However I may still get another 2 Wheeler before I'm through. Gotta make the most of it ... Life's too short Great vlog buddy 👍😎🤙

I have had around 7 or 8 2-wheelers, then a tri-glide and now my 2020 Spyder RTL. Every one of them was the perfect bike for me at the time. I agree the Spyder has all that the two wheelers had and then some. Sure I miss leaning, counter steering, and the sound of the v-twin engine. But now in life I much more enjoy the power assisted steering, air adjusted suspension, stability, handling, and the joy my wife has now riding the RTL with me

I've been riding my 21' RTL for most of this week because it's been dry every day. It was 92 and humid on Friday here in NC 🥵.

I have been out on my F3-S every day for the last month. It is easier to ride than my two-wheel motorcycles. I enjoy my can-am and my two wheelers equally. F3-S, SCR950, 390 Duke, Aerox 155. Nick

Nice video, enjoyed it and liked and subscribed. Is there a difference between the toll fees in America on driving a car or a motorcycle? It is rare with toll roads in europe, but there are some tunnels, bridges and ferries one have to pay for toll. Usually a MC is 50-65% of that of a car. Now, I am from Sweden, we do not have tolls at all, not even on ferries, with few exceptions, but we do have environmental zones that is tolled, but motorcycles are excempt there. Neighbour country Norway is also excempt on all tolls, there is just a few ferries that actually charge a small fee for motorcycles. Cheers

Thanks for sharing! I was going to go ride this weekend, but I had to work unexpectedly 😩. I tried a Shoei Neotec 2 and 3 on and they don't make a big enough size for me sadly. The 2x is extremely tight. I wear a 4xl in the helmet I have now.

I don't think I could ever go back to a Motorcycle without lots of storage. My 21' Spyder RTL has a huge amount of storage.

Well, I would guess if you hadn't been to the other great roads previously, this ride would be nice. But, there's a definite difference between AR with twisties and trees and flat with some curves. But still a nice ride.

Sounds like like you need new shocks. I switched to Elkas and a world of difference. well worth the money . 2021 F3S.

Glad to hear you put a car tire on the rear. Well, that's because you have to use car tires on a Spyder/Ryker. The wheels, both front and rear are "J-type" automotive car wheels. YOU CANNOT PUT MOTORCYCLE TIRES ON A SPYDER/RYKER.

Our RC just completed this ride 5/25/24. We're working on completing the whole "Dragon" series to attain the "Dragon Master" patch. This area is well known for the Hatfield/McCoy trails, and these trails generate much needed revenue for the local economy. The people of WV are in my experience, some of the most friendly people you'll ever meet. If you get the chance to make this ride, do it. It's a tiny window into the Appalachians way of living, and a means of helping some awesome folks! Their annual "Head of the Dragon" ride will happen Sept. 28th 2024 and it looks to be a great one. ☺

I did that with my spyder once. running 10 psi lol. They don't really care. The Ryker though cares alot more about air pressure than my spyder did.

I wonder whether you could help, Greatrydes. Got back to Portugal, insured my F3-S and went for a ride. It started first time after me being away for ten months. I'd left it on a battery tender. It is running perfecty but has thrown up a warning symbol, far right in orange, I think from memory. No one on the owners' forum seem to know what is is. Do you have any idea?

If you're moving in November, I'd leave your stuff in Ohio till you figure this all out. Other than the toolbox.

Exploring new parts of the country, thanks for taking us along. Saw a beautiful RT last night. It was close to midnight and he was out for an evening ride. He drove by me and looked at me in my convertible like I was an alien 👽 😂. Sometimes it's hard to get many miles on the Spyder when your having so much fun in the other areas of your life!
